Review: THE HECKLER
THE HECKLER
Written by Ed McBain

Genre: Crime
I like this novel because its contain or story about Detective Meyer Meyer, detective Steve Carella, Kling, Hernandez or we called 87th Squadron of police department who have been given a case about “The heckler”, David Raskin had been heckler by someone to leave his loft, but by the time the case was growing because people found a naked dead body in the place of David Raskin. The 87th squad must be clear the both case in the short time. At the end the 87th squadron had clear the case, the result the murder and the heckler is the same man.
The most character that I like is Detective Steve Carella, because he’s a good man, hard working because he never give to find a clue or to close the case, beside that he’s a brave and almost reckless man, because in the novel at one moment when the time he want to enter the locked room he never give up and he try to enter the room with fireplace way. Although he’s a great man, he’s a careless man, because when the time he wants to find a clue in John Smith (dead man), he’s been shot by a man with shotgun rifle. Because of that he must got a treatment because it pain and shot of the rifle.
The novel used forward plot, because it’s tell about how the case has been stared into how it’s been finished. This novel full of action that make we vexed and make we wants to know what will happen next.
