WHAT DOES OBAMA BRING FOR INDONESIA?
In the November 09th 2010, President Barrack Obama; the number one people of America came to Indonesia after delayed twice. Obama came with his staff landing in Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport directly came to the Istana Merdeka to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Obama’s visited Indonesia is to cooperate with Indonesia in Bilateral cooperation in many aspects. Obama who ever live in Indonesia make several Indonesian people think this is a great moment for Indonesia to take the advantages from it. Although several people saw the Obama’s visited has a positive effect for Indonesia, there are some people who saw the Obama’s visited has no effect for Indonesia.
Several people think that the Obama will give positive things for Indonesia. Some people believe that if Obama comes to Indonesia Obama will lead the changing the bilateral cooperation between this two country in the economic sides. This argument is un-reliable and just a nonsense discourse. The effect of Obama’s visited is nothing; the situation of Indonesia is already same. There’s no significant change in economical situation. Just Herwindo said “the direct effect of Obama’s visited is nothing”; there are still many problems hanging in the line. Many products of Indonesia are still hard to get in into America.
Some people believe that the moment of Obama come to Indonesia will change the view of Indonesian or Muslims about USA, and it can rebuilt the relationship between World of Muslims and American. This argument is such a wind which blows fast. Eventhough Obama’s visited the Istiqlal Mosque; the view of Indonesian Muslims is already the same. Indonesian Muslims look this phenomenon just a symbolic to hide the truth behind the lie. There are still many soldiers that placed in the Muslims country like Iraq, Afghanistan. When the American give 800 dollar to Israel in order armored the Israel to attack the Palestine, Obama didn’t listen the Muslims.
The visited of Obama made a good response of worldview about Indonesia. This is an unconstitutional argument because when the time Obama came to Indonesia the response of the world is also negative. This moment is show and makes them thinking that Indonesia is the one of American colleague. They think Indonesia is the puppet that American settles with their hand. In one of Malaysian blog said that Indonesia is the “dog” of American. How terrible condition it’s that; we almost think that if Obama comes to Indonesia the world will know about Indonesia. Of course it is true, but they wrong if their argument which said if Obama comes to Indonesia it will be positive for us.
It is shows that the argument of the Obama’s visited is made a positive effect to our country are not valid. Obama and the American are not bring any significant effect as we thought before. There is no change in the economical situation, in relationship with the Muslims, and in the worldview of Indonesia. Many people saw Obama is an angel who will give a change for Indonesia and any other Muslims Country, but in the fact Obama is still an evil just like the previous one. For now, opened up your mind, wake up from the long dreaming, look at the reality that Obama just like any other American people, there’s no differences.
